MITCHELL COUNTY COMMISSIONERS – Monday, October 23, 2023

The Mitchell County Commissioners conducted their weekly meeting at the Courthouse on Monday, October 23rd. All Commissioners and the County Clerk were present for the meeting.
Due to a blank slate of activities on the agenda, the Commissioners took take time to survey ongoing projects and the status of various undertakings.
David Dohe, Emergency Management Coordinator, stopped by to touch base with the Commissioners. They reviewed the fact that Mitchell County continues to be under a no burning ban throughout the entire county. Dry weather conditions and mild to moderate winds have created the likelihood that any type of outside burn could get out of hand and create significant problems.
Having discussed all matters before them, the meeting was adjourned.
