Michael “Red” Johnson, 70

Michael "Red" Johnson, 70, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Nebraska.
Red was born on December 9, 1952, in Smith Center, Kansas, the son of Robert and Yvonne (Cole) Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a niece, Roni Marie Schroder; and a nephew, Tony Johnson.
Red is survived by three brothers, Ron (Jeane) Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri, Joe (Tanya) Johnson of Ventura, California, Jim Johnson of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Cindy (Dale) Nixon of Smith Center, Kansas, and nine nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Cedar Cemetery, Cedar, Kansas.
There will not be a public visitation as cremation was chosen.
Memorials may be given to USD 237 Redmen Sports Channel and can be sent in care of All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, KS 66967.
