Jerry Lee Everett, 78

Jerry Lee Everett, 78, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Smith County Memorial Hospital, Smith Center, Kansas.
Jerry was born on July 13, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Glen Francis and Fleta Ann (Kline) Everett. Jerry was a United States Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged on August 15, 1967. On February 23, 1974, Jerry married Judy M. Montey and together they were blessed with two children, Richard and Lori.
He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Laura Everett.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Judy M. Everett of Smith Center; a son, Richard "Rick" (Natalie) Everett of Hastings, Nebraska; a daughter, Lori (Bob) Climpson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Connie (Doug) Rice and Judith Everett, all of Smith Center; six grandchildren, Zoe Hooker, Mason Hooker, Maddex Climpson, Logan Climpson, Brittany (D.J.) Hendrickson, Dillon Fox; and one great-grandson, Hudson Hooker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2024, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, Kansas.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Monday, March 25, 2024.
The burial will take place in the Gaylord Cemetery, Gaylord, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Smith County Fire Department and/or HELP Pets of Smith Center and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
