Wanda M. (Taylor) Kling, 95

Wanda Mae Kling, the daughter of John and Nellie (Hyland) Taylor, was born May 6, 1929 in rural Haddam, Kansas, and passed away on February 26, 2025 at the Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, at the age of 95.
Wanda graduated from Haddam Rural High School in 1947 and then taught country school for two years.
She married Harold Kling in 1949, and to this union three sons were born. Harold and Wanda owned and operated Haddam Truck Line, where she was the secretary and bookkeeper. When the opportunity arose in 1946, they acquired Ford, Mercury and Ford Heavy truck franchise in Belleville. They moved to Belleville in 1970 and worked side by side at Kling Motor Company until Harold's health declined and he passed away in 1982.
In 1991, Wanda married Elden Ahrens. They resided in Mission, Texas, and Hebron, Nebraska, and enjoyed traveling extensively until his death in 2010. At that time, Wanda moved back to Belleville to be closer to family.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harold; her second husband, Elden; her brothers, Virgil Taylor and Dean Taylor; and sister, Maxine Zenger.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Gary (Kris) Kling, Don (Sharon) Kling, and Roger (Sandy) Kling; grandchildren, Justin (Erin) Kling, Jason Kling, Shawn (Sandy) Kling, Ashley (Daniel) Mather, Jenny (Cindy Matthes) Kling, Ginger (Brian) Schwartz, Julie (Nick) Hansen; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Delilah (Harold) Metz; and sister-in-law, Ramona; other relatives and friends.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 9 AM until 4 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, 1322 19th St., Belleville, Kansas, where the family will greet friends from 2 PM until 4 PM on Saturday.
Following the viewing and greeting friends at 4 PM, a Graveside Service for friends and family will be held at the Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, Kansas, at approximately 4:15 PM, with PMA Al Urich officiating.
Interment will follow the services at Belleville Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Belleville Health Care Center or Meadowlark Hospice.
