8 Man Division I West Squad 2025

Beloit to host 40th Annual 8 Man All Star Games Saturday, June 7. The Division I All Star Game will be played at 1:30 p.m.

#11 - Duncan Bell, Hoxie, has been selected for the Division I West All Star Football Game. He is a 2025 graduate of Hoxie High School. He is 5'11" tall and weighs 180 pounds. He is a quarterback and his coach is Lance Baar. Parents are Dustin Bell and Micki Shipley. He will either play football in college or wrestle at Fort Hays Tech Northwest.
Achievements include: 13-0, 1st Team Quarterback for All-League, All-District, All-State. Top 18, 8-Man I with OPOY.
Honors in other sports include: Wrestling, 3-time State Qualifier, 1-time 3rd Place, 1-time State Champion; Track-3 time State Qualifier, 2 time State Placer.
Honors outside of school include: Youth Group & Mission Trips.
Activity or academic honors in school: Honor Roll/Student, 3 times KWCA-All American First Team.

#55 - Zachary Kraft, Kinsley, has been selected for the Division I West Squad. He is a 2025 graduate of Kinsley High School. He is 6'3" and weighs 280 pounds. He was a Center and Guard. His coach was Corey Dunlap. Parents are Dustin and Casandra Kraft.
He plans to play football at Sterling College and major in Criminal Justice.

#42 - Dorian Culwell, is a 2025 graduate of Rawlins County High School.
He is 5'8" tall and weighs 150 pounds. His positions are Tailback and Defensive End. His Coach is Aaron Sramek. Parents are Aaron and Toni Culwell.
He plans to attend McPherson College for the Auto Restoration program.
Individual achievements include: 2024: All State Honorable Mention Defensive Back, All League 1st Team Runningback, 1st Team Defensive End; 2023: All State Honorable Mention Defensive Line; Sports in Kansas 2023 non-senior football team, NWKL All League Honorable Mention Runningback, MWKL All League 1st Team Defensive Line.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: 2024 - State Qualifier in 200m dash, 4x100 meter dash, 2024: 2nd place at State Track 4x100m dash; 2023: State Qualifier in Trap Shooting; 2025: Straight 25 in Trap Shooting.
Honors outside of school include: Teens for Christ Small Group Leader, Teens for Christ Summer Camp Counselor. Honors in school include: National Honor Society, Gold Key Art Award, 4 Years KMEA Honor Choir Award, High Honor Roll.

#9 - Graeden Deines, Trego Community High School, has been selected for the Division I West Squad. He is a 2025 graduate of Trego Community High School and plans to attend Fort Hays Tech North Central for Plumbing and HVAC.
Parents are Shawn and Kerah Deines.
His coach was Pat Haxton. He is 6'1" tall and weighs 190 pounds. He played Defensive End, Offensive Line. Individual achievements include: 8 Man D1 first team All DIstrict OL 2022, 8 Man MCL All League 2nd Team DL 2023, 8 Man D1 All District OL and DL 2023, Sporting in Kansas 8 Man D1 All Non-Senior Team Honorable Mention 2023, 8 Man D1 All District DL Honorable Mention 2024, 8 Man MCL 2nd Team DL 2024, All State Senior Honorable Mention 2024, Sports in Kansas Honorable Mention 2024.
Honors in other sports include: State Tennis Qualifier 2024. Activities and honors outside of school include: K-CLub, T-Club, FCA & Trap Shooting.

#81 - Noah Friesen has been selected for the Division I West Game. He is a 2025 graduate of Sublette High School. He is 6'4" tall and weighs 190 pounds. His positions are Defensive End and Guard.
His coach is Tregg Rodriguez. He is the son of George and Christina Friesen.
He plans to attend Wichita State University to study Engineering.
Individual achievements include: All League 1st Team Defensive End, All District Defensive End, Single Game Sack School Record Holder, 2023 All State Honorable Mention.
Honors in other sports: 2024 State Track Qualifier.
Honors outside of school include: Billy's Best 10 High School football players in Southwest Kansas.

#1 - Jamie Gardea, South Central High School, has been selected for the Division I West Squad. He is 5'8", weighs 160 pounds. He played as Wide Receiver and Defensive Back. His coach was Brett Westrup.
His parents are Adrian and Angelica Gardea. He plans to attend a Wind Technician School.
Achievements received include 8 Man Defensive Back, POY Finalist.
Honors in other sports include All League in Basketball.

Chris Hermisillo-Lopez, Wichita County High School, has been selected for the Division I West All Star Game. He is a 2025 graduate of Wichita County High School. He is 5'10" tall, weighs 205 pounds. He was a runningback, defensive end.
His coach was Brant Douglas. His parents are Armando and Rosa Hermosillo.
He plans to attend North Central Kansas Technical College for Electrical Technology.
Achievements he received include 3 Times All State 1st Team, League MVP, 3 Times League 1st Team.
Honors in other sports include 3 times KEMFA Power Lifting Champion.
Academic honors include National Honor Society.

#10 - Damien Loewen, South Gray, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2025 graduate of South Gray High School.
He is 6'2" tall and weighs 220 pounds. His positions are runningback, defensive and linebacker. His coach is Austin Lantz.
His parents are Pete and Connie Loewen. He plans to attend a community college and pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Achievements: All League 1st Team Runningback, All League 2nd Team Linebacker, Wichita Eagle 1st Team Defensive End, Sports in Kansas Honorable Mention.
Academic or activity honors in school: National Honor Society Vice President, StuCo Vice President, Valedictorian, State Vocal 3 years, State Bank 4 years, Class Vice President.

#44 - Easton Nickelson, Hoxie, has been selected for the Division I West Team.
He is 6 foot tall, weighs 185 pounds. He is a linebacker and fullback. Lance Baar is his coach.
Brian and Jamie Nicholson are his parents. He plans to attend the University of Kansas to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering.
Individual Achievements include: 13-0, First Team All District DL, First Team All District Linebacker, First Team All League Linebacker.
Other sports: 3rd Place in State Wrestling, 2 time Team State Champion in wrestling.
Activities outside of school include: CYO and Baseball.

#18 - Caleb Noble-Heit, Ellis High School, has been selected for the Division I West All Star Game. He is 6'3" tall and weighs 190 pounds. He is a wide receiver. His coach is Brian Eichman.
His parents are Cody and Kelsey Heit. He plans to go to college and become a chiropractor.
Achievements include: 8 Man Receiving Yards record junior year-all State Honorable Mention; 1st Team All League WR Senior Year-1st Team All State WR, 1st Team All District WR/DB/P; 1st Team All League, WR; 2nd Team All League Punter.
Honors outside of school include: KAYS Club, FCCLA, Site Council Award, Leader of Ellis High School Bible Study.
He was a member of the National Honor Society.

He is 6'2" tall and weights 205 pounds. His positions are Defensive End and Tight End. His coach is Lance Baar. Parents are Steven and Kaylee Watkins. He plans to wrestle at the University of Nebraska, Kearney.
Individual records and achievements include: Lettered in Football, 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grades. He was All League 10th, 11th & 12th years. He was All District 10th, 11th & 12th grades; All State 11th and 12th Grade; 8 Man Offensive of the Year in the Wichita Eagle.
Accomplishments in other sports include: Wrestling-Lettered, 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grade; 2024: State Champion wrestler; 2023: 3rd place State finish in Wrestling. 2022: State Runner-Up in wrestling, 2022-2023-2024: Team State Champions; 2022: FARGO All American; 2023 & 2024: Team Academic State Champions; 2023 & 2024: Academic All State

He plans to attend Lineman School.
