Jerod Diederich / Hanover is a 2010 graduate of Hanover High School. Jerod plans to attend college and major in business. Football statistics and honors include: lettering 2008, 2009 and 2010; 1st Team All Twin Valley League 2008; 2nd Team All Twin Valley League 2009; 1st Team Offensive All Sun-Land Area, 2009; and Honorable Mention Defense 2009. Hanover was state championship runner up in 2007 and state champions in 2008 and 2009. Honors and accomplishments in other sports include playing basketball 4 years: Twin Valley League Champs-2009, Regional Champs 2008 & 09; Sub-State Champs, 2008 & 09; State Championship runner-up 2008, state champs 2009; state track competitor in 2007 and 2008 and cross country state competitor in 2006. Kody Workman / Sylvan Unified is a 2010 graduate of Sylvan Unified High School. Kody plans to attend college and major in pre-medicine. Football honors include being sleected Twin Lakes League All League Quarterback 2009, Honorable Mention Safety 2009, All League Safety 2008 and Honorable Mention Quarterback 2008. Sylvan was league champions in 2009. Honors and accomplishments in other sports include 4 year letterman in basketball, Twin Lakes All League basketball 1st Team 08-09; 3 year letterman in baseball. Activities and honors outside school include St. Patrick's church member, CYO member, MAYB basketball 6 years, summer league baseball 12 years. Aaron Peters / Linn is a 2010 graduate of Linn High School. Aaron plans to attend college and major in agronomy. Football honors include: lettering all 4 years; All Twin Valley League 1st Team Linebacker-unanimous selection; Topeka Capital Journal All State Honorable Mention Linebacker. Aaron was a 2 year basketball letterman and 4 year track letterman. He is a member of St. John Lutheran LYF and enjoys hunting and shooting sports. Garrett Greif / St. John's Tipton is a 2010 graduate of Tipton Catholic High School. Garrett plans to attend Kansas State University and major in engineering. Football statistics and honors include: 09-10: All League PIke Trail League; 1st Defensive Corner (safety); 1st Team Punt Receiver; Honorable Mention Running back; Nominated for Shrine Bowl; Cunningham Telephone Player of the Week; League Leader punt returns, 18 TD and 3 PAT, 114 points; Rushing - 72 carries for 514 yds, 17 TD's, 3 Int; received 22 catches for 385 yds, 6 TD; 6 punt returns for 159 yds, 2 TDs. St. John's Tipton was Pike Trail League Champs in 08, 08, 09; District Champs in 08, 09; undefeated in 08; sub-state runner up in 09; district, bi-district and regional champs in 09. Garrett medaled in the 400m 5th at state and 200m 10th at state in 09-10; placed 4th in the regional meet; placed 1st in the triple jump, 200m run and 400m run in the Twin Lakes League and 3rd in the triple jump. In basketball he was selected Honorable Mention All League Twin Lakes-11th and All League TLL-12th. Dillan Kuehny / Caldwell is a 2010 graduate of Caldwell High School. Dillan plans to attend Kansas State University. Caldwell was SCBL Champions in 2009 and Bi-District Champs in 2009. Dillan was selected All League Basketball 3 years. He enjoys camping, fishing, hanging out and having fun. Josh Teal / Waverly is a 2010 graduate of Waverly High School. Josh's future plans are undecided. Football honors include being named Honorable Mention All League Tight End in 2008; 1st team All League Wide Receiver and Honorable Mention All State in 2009. Waverly was league and state champions in 2006 with an undefeated season; co-league champions in 2007; and district runnerup in 2008 and 2009. Josh was named 1st Team All League in 2008 and Honorable Mention All State in 2009 in basketball. He placed first in the Missouri State Motorcross Championship series in 2009. Josh enjoys riding dirt bikes, fishing and hanging out with friends. He is the son of Roger and Tammy Teal, Waverly.
Dylan Walta / Caldwell is a 2010 graduate of Caldwell High School. Dylan plans to attend Kansas State University. Football statistics and honors include: SCBL All League 1st Team Offensive Lineman; SCBL All League Honorable Mention Defensive End. Caldwell was Regional Runner up with a 10-1 record in 2009. Dylan lettered in basketball and is a member of the Christian Church Youth Group. He enjoys hunting, fishing, car shows, rebuilding his 1977 Camaro and listening to music. Derrick Gerard / Hanover is a 2010 graduate of Hanover High School. Derrick's future plans are undecided. He lettered in football 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Hanover was state champion in 2008 and 2009. Derrick was selected 1st Team All League (offensive, defense-punter) in 2009 and 1st Team All-State (offense) 2009. He played golf in 2006 and 2010 and was a state competitor in 2007; track 1 year and basketball 3 years (regional champion in 2010). Derrick enjoys hunting, skiing and camping. Activities and honors in school include FBLA 4 years, FBLA National Competitor 2008, State Competitor 4 years, state football champions in 2008 and 2009. He is the son of Darrin & Karine Gerard, Hanover.
Christian Howell / South Haven is a 2010 graduate of South Haven High School. Christian plans to attend Bethel College. Football statistics and honors include: 07-08 SCBL Honorable Mention Defense; 08-09 SCBL 2nd Team Offense & Defense; 09-10 SCBL First Team Offense & Defense; Sr. year had 83 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 9 TDs, played OL. Made V.Y.P.E. Magazine's Top 8 in 8 Man Football Central Kansas Dec. 09 issue. South Haven was the sub-state winner in 07. They made the state playoffs the past 4 years. Christian letered in track in 07, 08 and 09 and basketball 07-10. During the summer Christian works for a farmer, running combines, tractors and grain carts. He enjoys working out, watching movies, playing C.O.D. on X-Box 360 and being with his family. He was senior class president, vice president FFA, STUCO treasurer, Jets president, FCCLA member and was on the Principal's Honor Roll. He is the son of Kelley and Dawn Howell, South Haven.
Tyler Holle / Linn is a 2010 graduate of Linn High School. Tyler plans to attend Highland Community College, play football and major in computer aided drafting. Football honors and statistics include: 3 year letterman, broke the school record of the longest punt return, 79 yds. Tyler was a 3 year letterman in basketball and track, 3 year state contestant in track-5th place at state long jummp in 2009; broke school's long jump record junior year; broke 4x100 school record freshman year. Tyler has worked for Ohlde Seed Farms since 2006 at Palmer, is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church-Linn and the Lutheran Youth Group. Activities and honors in school: Honor student, Exemplary on State Assessments-Math & Reading, Future Business Leaders of America-2 years, State Qualifier in FBLA for 2 years, Homecoming Royalty. Cody Howard / Norwich is a 2010 graduate of Norwich High School. Cody plans to attend K-State and major in mass communications. Football statistics include: Junior: completing 49 of 25 passes for 533 yds; rushing for 625 yds; 38 solo tackles, 21 assists, 1 int. and 25 TD's; Senior: completing 55 of 104 passes for 869 yds; rushing 960 yds; 52 solo tackles, 66 assists, 27 TDs. Norwich was bi-district and district champs in 2009. Accomplishments in other sports include all league basketball 2008-2009, 54 Classic, Caldwell All Tournament Team 2009-2010 (basketball); state track finalish in the 300m hurdles 2009. Cody was on the Student Leadership Council 08-10, selected National Most Outgoing Student of the Year 08 and 09. Hobbies and interests include basketball, playing the guitar and being with friends and family and loving life. Activities and honors in school include Stuco president 2010, SADD Board & President, FCA president 09-10 and forensics. He is the son of Troy and Heidi Howard, Milton.
Caleb Hirsch / Sylvan Unified is a 2010 graduate of Sylvan Unified High School. Caleb plans to attend Fort Hays State University. He was selected all league in football. Hobbies and interests include hunting, hanging out with friends in the big town of Sylvan Grove. Activities and honors in school include GCTL, KAYS and forensics. He is the son of Jill and Jason Wiebke and Josh Girard, Lincoln.
Kyle Bruce / Argonia is a 2010 graduate of Argonia High School. Kyle's future plans are undecided. Football statistics and accomplishments include: first team all league linebacker 2008m, firs team all league linebacker 2009, Topeka Capital Journal all state honorable mention linebacker, team captain, homecoming king. Senior stats: total tackles-110, total touchdowns-7, receptions-11 catches, 64 yds rushing, 89 carries for 341 yds, 40 yds per game. Argonia was District 4 Champs, Bi-District Champs, SCBL League Runner up 2008, 2006 undefeated regular season, team is very dedicated to the weight room and works hard in the off season. Accomplishments in other sports include KEMFA Eight Man Division II sophomore year; 2nd in power clean, 4th in bench, 148 lb. weight class; jr year 2nd in power clean, 4th in squat, 6th in bench, 2nd overall in 156 lb weight class. Kyle delivers meals on wheels. He enjoys hunting, trapping, fishing, paint balling, driving four wheelers, mudding, working on his truck, shooting clay pigeons, hanging out with friends and working on the family farm. Activities and honors in school include A honor roll, exemplary awards for state testing in reading and writing, vice president of senior class, homecoming king. He is the son of Brian and Sandy Bruce, Argonia.
Zach Antoszyk / Centre is a 2010 graduate of Lost Springs-Centre High School. Zach's future plans are to attend Vo-Tech School. Football honors include being selected for 1st Team All League Defensive End in 2008 and 1st Team All League Middle Linebacker and Tight End in 2009. Lost Springs was regional runner up in 2009. Zach enjoys fishing, hunting and anything dealing with the outdoors. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Antoszyk, Ramona.
Luke Schibi / St. Paul is a 2010 graduate of St. Paul High School. Luke plans to attend college. Football honors include first team all league offensive line and all state honorable mention lineback. St. Paul was regional runner up in 2006, undefeated district champs in 2008, regional runner up in 2008. Luke letteredin basketball, baseball and football. He is a member of CYO and an altar server. He enjoys fishing and camping. He was basketball homecoming king and an FFA member. He is the son of Vincent and Mary Schibi.
Raymond Zilliox / Waverly is a 2010 graduate of Waverly High School. Raymond plans to attend Pittsburg State University. Football accomplishments and honors include: 2nd Team All League ZB, 2008; Honorable Mention All State (defense), 1st Team All-League LB, 2nd Team All-League TE 2009. He missed zero days of practice in 4 years. Waverly was league and state champions in 2006 with an undefeated record; co-league champions in 2007; district runner up in 2008 and 2009. Raymond is a member of the United Methodist Church, delivers Meals on Wheels and teaches vacation Bible School. He enjoys playing dunkball with friends, Wii fit plus, NCAA football tournaments on PS2 and camping at Melvern Lake. He is a member of National Honors Society and is a Kansas Honor Scholar. He is the son of David Chapman and Connie Chapman.
Chris Cain / Axtell is a 2010 graduate of Axtell High School. Christopher plans to go into criminal law or become a lineman. Football honors and statistics inlcude: Old Spice Player of the Year nomination; he caused 2 fumbles and recovered them; had 69 total tackles as a defensive end his senior year, 3 quarterback sacks, 9 tackles for a loss. Axtell was 7-3 in 2008, losing to Hanover in sub-state; 4-5 in 09, lost to Clifton-Clyde in regionals; 05 Topeka YMCA Oskie Bears Season 6-0, loset to Boy Bowl to Silver Lake. He played through the YMCA Topoela 04 & 05 Oskaloosa Bears and Lawrence in 2000 to 2003. Christopher was nominated for the Old Spice Player of the year and lettered two years in football. He is a member of Pheasants Forever, Kansas Furharvesters 15 years; Kansas Pedal Power State qualifier 2001-02-04; works summer jobs for the City of Axtell and was the 09 Young Backhoe and Trenching in Seneca. He enjoys upland game hunting including deer & turkey, coonhunting, trapping wild fur, has ran his own lawnmower service for 7 years and removed damaged trees in ice storms as a public service. Christopher was a member of FFA for 4 years, layed basketball 3 years and track 2 years. He is the son of Ricahrd Cain and Tereasa M. Whitley.
Trevor Troutt / Centre is a 2010 graduate of Centre High School. Trevor plans to attend college. He was selected All League Defensive End and Punter his senior year. Lost Springs was regional runner up in 2009. Trevor was selected 1st Team All League basketball his junior year and also participated in the state track meet. He enjoys sports, fishing and lifting weights. He is the son of Tiffany Trout, Lincolnville.
Travis Merril / Hope is a 2010 graduate of Hope High School. Travis' future plans are to join the Marines. Football honors include being selected All League Defensive End in 2008; all League Linebacker and All County Linebacker in 2009. Hope was league champion in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. They made the state championship game in 2006 losing the game. Hope made the playoffs in 2006, 2007, and 2009. Hope was league champion in track with Travis running in the 4x800 relay. He enjoys camping, fishing and hunting. Travis was a member of FFA for 4 years and was on the Hope High Honor Roll for 2 years. He is the son of Larry and Rhonda Douthit, Hope.

Kevin Schmidt / Caldwell has been chosen as the head coach for the 8 Man Division II East Squad 8 Man All Star Football Game. He is currently the Counselor/Asst. Principal in the Caldwell School District. He has been the head football coach at Caldwell the last 8 years with an overall record of 47-29 and 3 state playoff appearances. A graduate of Caldwell High School, he attended Emporia State University and was a member of the Hornet football team graduating in 1991 with a Bachelors degree in Education. He received his Masters degree in School Counseling and Psychology from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in May 1998, and completed his Administrative School Leadership certification from Baker University in 2008. Kevin has been married for 19 years to his lovely wife Dani. Dani is the Reading specialist/Title I teacher at Caldwell Schools. They have three children, Kellen 14, Karlee 12, and Katie Jo 9. During his free time Kevin enjoys raising cattle and hay on the family farm Southwest of Caldwell.
Jon Bingesser / St. John's Tipton has been chosen as an assistant coach for the 8 Man Division II East Squad 8 Man All Star Football Game. He was born and raised at Waconda Springs in Mitchell County, and attended school in Cawker City. After graduation in 1957 he attended Washburn University and earned a B.S. degree in Education. While at Washburn, he participated in football, basketball, baseball and track, earning 12 varsity letters. Jon also has a Master's Degree from Emporia State University and a school administrator degree from Fort Hays State University. His coaching experiences began as head football and assistant basketball coach at Palco High School for two years, and continued at Solomon for three years. He then coached for 14 years at Salina's Sacred Heart High School. While at Sacred Heart, his teams won three state championships. Bingesser was also the head football coach at Kansas Wesleyan University for four years, where his team won the KCAC championship in 1982. After being out of coaching for 18 years, he returned to coach at Beloit High School, winning two NCAA League championships in four years. After being retired one year, he returned to coach St. John's/Tipton the past three years, where he had a record of 26-4 with 3 undefeated Pike Trail League championships. His overall coaching record for 26 years is 170-77-1. Jon has five children. Brad is a school administrator for the Olathe School District. Kelly is a homemaker in Overland Park. Michael is a postman for the U.S. Postal Service in Olathe. Jon II is a senior at Pittsburg State University and is the head volleyball coach at NE Arma High School. Brittany is a student and volleyball player at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Daymon Walker / Tescott has been chosen as an assistant coach for the 8 Man Division II East Squad 8 Man All Star Football Game. Coach Daymon Walker graduated from Sylvan Unified High School in 1981. He has an undergraduate degree from Fort Hays State University and a graduate degree in Education from Baker University. Daymon has been an employee of Tescott High School since 1988 teaching physical education, health and driver education. He was an assistant coach under Jim Anderson for twelve years enjoying six play-off teams and three sub-state runner-up finishes. He then coached junior high football for five years before taking over the high school program four years ago. The Trojans of Tescott have gone 23 and 15 over the past four years including a 10 and 1 season and two trips to the state play-offs. Daymon and his wife Jo have been married for 27 years and have two children, Taylor, 19 and Bayleigh, 16.
