Lois E. Luckey was born on February 5, 1941 in Osborne, Kansas, the daughter of Donald Stout, Sr. and Freeda Conrad Stout. She died on May 3, 2021 at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, Kansas, at the age of 80.
She married Avon Luckey on November 29, 1959. To this union, three children, David, Sandy, and Randy, were born.
Lois was in the nursing profession all her life, whether for Dr. Milton Holloway, Mitchell County Hospital, or Hilltop Lodge. She was always taking care of someone.
She loved the outdoors, as well as crocheting in her spare time. And she always cherished all of her family reunions.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Avon; her granddaughter, Ashley; and great grandson, Paul.
Left to mourn her passing are her son David and wife Kristy, daughter, Sandy and husband Dwight Housh, son, Randy and wife Mary; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Twila and husband Mark Lindsley; and brothers, Dwayne and wife Wanda Stout, and Donald Jr. and wife Rhonda Stout.
Graveside memorial services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, May 11, at Naomi Cemetery near Glen Elder. The funeral procession to Naomi Cemetery will leave Roberts Family Funeral Home at 10:15 A.M.
Memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice.
