Joshua Aron Soden was born on October 1, 1987 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Michael and Teresa Hutchinson Soden. He died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Salina, Kansas at the age of 34.
He initially grew up between Glen Elder and Cawker City, and the family later moved to Marysville, where he graduated from High School.
Josh enjoyed helping on the farm, as well as his mother's dog kennel. His greatest joy was spending time with friends, listening and dancing to music, and playing pool. He loved his son, Preston and spending time with him. He had recently moved to Salina, where he worked at Stryten Manufacturing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael; his grandpa Hutchinson; and his great grandma Kay.
Josh is survived by his mother, Teresa Peeks and her husband Keith; his son, Preston; his girlfriend, Amy Fauhn; his brother, Mitchell Peeks; his sister, Tanda Alexander; his grandmother Linda Winkel and her husband Dan; and a host of friends and family.
Funeral services were 1:30 PM Tuesday, January 25 at the Glen Elder Christian Church.
Memorials may be given to the Salvation Army.
