Delores Della V. Streckfus, age 100, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Marquis Place, Concordia, Kansas. She was born on September 13, 1921 in Tescott, Kansas, to Roy and Nora (Christianson) Armsbury.
Delores graduated from Tescott High School. She married Roy L. Streckfus on October 30, 1946 in Salina, Kansas. They moved to Denver, Colorado, in 1954.
She was a homemaker, and she also managed their apartment complex while in Denver.
Delores enjoyed taking care of her yard, loved shopping and was an excellent cook. In her later years Delores took up art and painted many pictures.
She is survived by her niece, Ann Nora Bittner (David), Hill Borough, New Jersey; three nephews, Jerry Stenberg (Laura Lee), Clyde, Kansas, Tom Asbury (Vicki) and Mike Duoto (Dian), both of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Streckfus; parents, Roy and Nora; her brother, Armond and his wife Elizabeth Armsbury; many great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A family graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 in the Franklin Cemetery in Tescott, Kansas, with Fr. Mark Wesley officiating.
