Bob Michel, 79, passed away June 3, 2022 at Smith County Hospital in Smith Center. He was born June 13, 1942 in Beloit to John and Hilda (Rein) Michel.
He was a farmer and avid antique collector.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte of the home; children, R.J. Michel of Andover, Kansas, Lee Ann Michel of Lincoln, Nebraska, Allen Schweitzer of Downs, Perry Schweitzer of Osborne, Ronda Cameron of Osborne; brothers, Lawrence Michel of Downs and Jerry Michel of Phillipsburg; sisters, Betty Wolters of Portis and Sue Witham of Salina; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the United Methodist Church in Downs. Visitation will be held Tuesday June 7, 2022 from 6-7:30 pm at the church.
Memorials may be given to United Methodist Church or Downs summer ball program.
