8 Man Division II East Squad 2022 – GOLD

Beloit to host 37th Annual 8 Man All Star Games
The 37th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Games will be played in Beloit on Saturday, June 11th. The Division II game will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Trojan Field on North Hersey Avenue. Pre-game will begin at 1:00 p.m. with introduction of the players.
The Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Pep Rally and refreshments for the players, coaches and fans on Friday, June 10th, starting at 4 p.m. at Chautauqua Park in Beloit.

Olin Brown, Thunder Ridge, has been selected for the Division II East Squad. He is a 2022 graduate of Thunder Ridge High School his future plans are undecided.
Football statistics, accomplishments and honors include (he only played 2 years: Junior Year: 47 solo tackles, 51 assists, 1 TFL, 2.5 sack, 1 FR 60 yard TD; Senior year: Defense - 70 solo tackles, 57 assists, 19 TFL; 1 Sack, 2 Int., 1 FR, 2 FF; Offense - 61 carries, 477 yds, 15 rushing TD's, 2 receptions for 27 yds, 1 receiving TD, 36 pancake blocks.
Thunder Ridge was a playoff qualifier in 2021 and sub-state runner-up.

He plans to attend Neosho County Community College for HVAC in the fall. He graduated from Flint Hills Technical College as a Certified Electrician in May 2022.

Xavier Brandt, Frankfort, has been selected for the Division II East Squad. He is a 2022 graduate of Frankfort High School and his future plans are to attend Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Football statistics and accomplishments include: All League 1st Team OL/DL 2 times and Honorable Mention; All State 1st Team OL 2 times and DL 2d team and DL Honorable Mention; K-Man Players of the Week; High School season sack record.
Frankfort was Regional champs, Sectional champs and Sub-state runner-up.

Lakeside reached the playoffs in 2019, 2020 and 2022, but lost in the 1st round.

Hanover reached the State Playoffs the past 4 years with 1 undefeated season.

Daxton Dunlap, Thunder Ridge, has been selected for the Division II East Squad. He is a 2022 graduate of Thunder Ridge High School. He plans to attend PHAC at NCK Tech College in Beloit.
Football statistics and honors include: Junior Year: All State Honorable Mention, 2bd Team TE/DB All League District; Senior year: 2nd Team TE/DB District, 714 receiving yards, 13 touchdowns, 56 solo tackles, 67 assists and 9 interceptions.
Thunder Ridge reached the playoffs all 4 years, they were sectional runner-up 2019, playoff qualifier in 2020 ad sub-state runner-up in 2021.
Daxton qualified for the State Track meet.
