Elma R. "Beanie" Fiser, 88

Elma R. "Beanie" Fiser, the daughter of B. E. (Bud) Dresslar and Vera (Nesmith) Dresslar, was born August 16, 1934 in Mankato, Kansas, and passed away on September 22, 2022 at Bryan Medical Center West, Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 88 years, 1 month, and 6 days.
Beanie attended the local public schools, graduating from Belleville High School. On September 16, 1954, she was united in marriage to Robert D. Fiser and to this union was born: Deborah and Frank.
Beanie worked for Scott Specialties' for many years and later, along with her husband, operated Holiday Floral in Belleville, Kansas, from 1984 until 1988. They moved to Cuba, Kansas, in 2008 and Beanie later moved to Belleville, Kansas, in May of 2018.
Beanie was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Belleville, Kansas, and was a quilter at both the Cuba and Belleville Presbyterian Churches. For the past five years, she has been making quilts for Connor's Cuddles. Beanie also enjoyed her coffee group at the Feathered Nest and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also was an avid sports fan and loved watching her Jayhawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Royals play.
She was preceded in death by her parents, B.E. (Bud) and Vera Dresslar; her husband, Robert D. Fiser in 2009; sister, Barbara (Bobbie) Taylor; brother, Ed Dresslar.
Beanie is survived by her children, Deborah (Tim) Rhine of Mahaska, Kansas, and Frank (Donna) Fiser of Georgetown, Texas; four grandchildren, Andy Rhine of Haddam, Kansas, Lesley (Matt) Bauer of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Lucas (Katherine) Fiser of Austin, Texas, and Jessy (Eric) Whited of Austin, Texas; six great-grandchildren, Addy Bauer, Grace Bauer, Leilani Fiser, Hayden Whited, Drew Whited, and Ashton Whited; one brother, Jack (Carol) Dresslar of Gardner, Kansas; nephews, John Dresslar of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Jason (Alaina) Dresslar of Hays, Kansas; other relatives and friends
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 7, 2022 at the United Presbyterian Church, Belleville, Kansas, with Pastor Deb Hadachek officiating.
Inurnment will follow at the National Cemetery, rural Narka, Kansas.
Friends may call from 1 PM until 8 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas, where the family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM.
