Dorothy Reling, 83

Dorothy Marie Reling was born on July 23, 1939 north of Cawker City, in Cawker Township, the daughter of Harold LeRoy and Mildred Marie Kincheloe Reling. She passed from this life peacefully Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at home, Cawker City, Kansas.
Dorothy graduated from Cawker City High School in 1957 and from the Brown Mackie College in Salina. After Brown Mackie she worked for a short time at Riley Chev, and then at the Cawker City Mutual Telephone Company. She finally started working at the Guaranty State Bank in Beloit, Kansas, where she worked for 41 years until she retired. She loved working at the bank and told stories about her career and co-workers often. Dorothy had many hobbies over the years. Some of them were ceramics, leather tooling, stamp collecting, knitting, a little crocheting, counted cross-stitching, taking photo pictures, reading and genealogy. She was a member of the North Central Kansas Genealogical Society and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She also enjoyed watching the KC Royals and the KC Chiefs.
To us she was always Dorothy, Dort, Aunt Dort, and friend. The role she loved best was being an Aunt to Pamila Kay and Paula Annette and Great Aunt to Levi Donald and Wyatt Joseph Brummer, Chase Allen and Trey Alexander Turner and Katie Ratliff.
