Rosanne M. Newell of Superior, Nebraska, was born on June 30, 1949 in Friend, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Vera M. and Walter J. Endorf and grew up on a farm outside of Tobias. She entered into her eternal life on May 12, 2023 while living at Good Samaritan Society in Superior, Nebraska.
Rosanne was baptized July 17, 1949 at Zion Lutheran Church Tobias, Nebraska. On April 12,1969 she married Lonnie E. Jones and to this union one daughter was born, Jennifer. On October 30, 2002 she married James E. Newell in Fairbury, Nebraska.
Rosanne was proud of receiving her certificate in both Medication Assistant and Basic Nurse Assistant. Rosanne enjoyed waitressing and striking up conversations with the many customers she served. When not working, Rosanne loved playing cards with friends along with gardening, attending her grandchildren's activities and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; and brother, Doyle.
She is survived by daughter, Jennfer Kujath (Frederick) of Fairbury; brother, Dennis Endorf (LaRae) of Fremont; sister-in-law, Ramona Endorf of Fairbury; stepdaughter, Melissa Aksamit (Tony) of Superior; stepson, Aaron Newell (Jori) of Eagle; grandchildren, Frederick D. and Erin E. Kujath, Kilee, Kassie and Khloe Newell; nieces and nephews and other relatives and also special friend, Gary Culbertson.
Funeral services will be held at Megrue-Price Funeral Home, Superior, Nebraska, Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Pastor Joseph Love will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, Nebraska.
Memorials may go in care of the family.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 16, with the family present to greet friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home, 750 N. Commercial, Superior, Nebraska.
