Monica "Nikki" Bader, 35, daughter of Darrell and Lisa Bader, passed away on May 18, 2023, with her parents by her side.
Monica was born May 16, 1988 and grew up in Cawker City where she graduated from Lakeside High School. Throughout those years she was active in track, basketball, cheerleading and really loved being a member of the drill team.
After high school, she attended Wichita State University and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Office Management in just 2 ½ years. During her schooling, she worked as a waitress and a carhop in the food service industry.
After graduating, she took a position with the Federal Government auditing Government contracts where she was highly praised and advanced quickly due to her professionalism and ability to uncover wasteful and fraudulent spending, in some cases saving the government tens of millions of dollars.
She was a loving mother of two and was always ready and willing to help anyone in need of help. She really loved to do experimental cooking throwing all kinds of things together, which actually turned out quite well... most of the time. There were a few dismal failures which were quickly remedied by pizza or hot dogs as a replacement.
She leaves behind her two beautiful children, XiaRiana Chaines Williams, age 10, and Rayve Michael Vaughn Meyer, age 3; parents, Darrell and Lisa Bader; brother, Joshua and Carolin Stumma; sister, Tiffany Reich; brother, Cody and Jacie Bader; nieces and nephews, Vincent, Dorian and Mera Stumma, Ellie Reich, Stella and Benjamin Bader.
She was loved by many and we will dearly miss her beautiful smile, her laughter and her caring spirit. Goodbye Baby Girl, we will see you in heaven!
Memorial services will be at 11 AM Thursday, May 25, at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Cawker City. A rosary service will be at 10 AM Thursday at the Church. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be given to the Bader Education Fund.
