Randy J. McClintock, 70

On Saturday, May 27, 2023, Randy J. McClintock, loving husband, father, and grandfather, peacefully left this world at the age of 70.
Randy was born on June 6, 1952 in Beloit, Kansas, to Vernice and Peggy McClintock. He attended school in Simpson, Kansas, and graduated from Beloit High School in 1970.
Randy was united in marriage to Lenita Bugstrom and through this union two children were born, Ryan McClintock and Amanda (McClintock) Shay. After departing ways, Randy met Paulette (Sahlfeld) Heiman in 1992 and they were joined in holy matrimony on July 27, 1996. Through this marriage, Randy and Paulette were able to share their love and create a new family. They were blessed to unite their four children together: Ryan, Amanda, Kara (Heiman) Riemann, and Jerrin Heiman. The two families gave Randy many lasting memories of joy and love over the years.
Randy lived for his music and always had a guitar in his hands. He began his career as a musician with the Western Echoes Band. Randy was a very talented musician as he wrote all of his songs himself and was known for his heartfelt lyrics and songs that often reflected on his own life experiences. Later in his career he recorded several albums in Nashville, Tennessee, and his song "Huffy Shoe Strutt" made the top charts in Europe. He took pride in giving back to his community through music by performing at various events and venues throughout the area. Randy loved his family and he knew no strangers as his compassion for others was evident to everyone who knew him. Aside from music, Randy's favorite pastimes included fishing and hunting (always going for the big bucks).
Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Martha; his father, Vernice; sister, Linda; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Littrell. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Paulette; his children and stepchildren, Ryan McClintock, Salina, Kansas, Amanda Shay (Peter), Wichita, Kansas, Kara Riemann (Mike), Beloit, Kansas, and Jerrin Heiman (Brianne), Beloit, Kansas; siblings, Harry McClintock (Joan), Joyce Littrell, Kris Cox (Doug), Deb Walters (Dean), Karl McClintock (Julie); his grandchildren, Mya, Ian, Kayla McClintock (Austin Morgan), Connor, Christian, Kai Shay, Saylor Morgan, Colson and Danielle Riemann, Jules and Saige Heiman; great-granddaughter, June McClintock, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Randy was a kind and generous person who brought joy to all who knew him. His passing has left a void in the lives of those who called him friend, and our lives will never be the same without him. He was deep in his faith and we take solace in the knowledge that he is now in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior. May he rest in peace.
