Andra Lampert, 77, passed away on January 10, 2025, in Beloit, Kansas. She was born on May 25, 1947, in Beloit to Wendell and Anna Mae (Sims) Wooster. On February 4, 1967, Andra married Bob Lampert in Beloit, and they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, raising three sons together.
A 1965 graduate of Beloit High School, Andra attended beauty school in Manhattan and briefly worked as a beautician. Later, she worked as the church secretary at Zion Lutheran Church in Beloit, where she was an active member and sang in the choir. She also organized a story hour at the church, where she loved working with young children from many different denominations.
Andra had a wide range of interests and passions. In 1971, she and Bob took a bridge class, and Andra thoroughly enjoyed playing in a bridge club for many years. She was known for her attention to detail when hosting ladies' bridge club and later in life, her bunco group, always ensuring that everyone had a great time. She also became a member of the Ad Volens club around the same time, serving for over 50 years. Andra played violin as a dedicated member of the Community Orchestra from its inception until her health began to decline a few years ago. Through these activities, she formed many lifelong friendships.
Though Andra was involved in numerous activities, her family was always her top priority. Her three sons were her pride and joy, and she was a tremendous cook, always ensuring there was a warm meal on the table for them. She loved attending their activities and was a constant source of support, letting them know how much they were loved. In later years, her grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy. Birthdays and Christmas were especially meaningful, as Andra made sure to spoil the grandkids and create lasting memories.
Andra is survived by her loving husband, Bob; sons, Eric (Stephanie Kadel), Paul (Marcy, grandsons Kyle and Tyler), and Aaron (Sally, granddaughters Brooklyn and Piper); her brother-in-law, Larry Lampert, and nephews Scott (Sandra) Fitzgerald and Steven (Marietta) Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Anna Mae Wooster; her mother and father-in-law, Floyd and Frances Lampert; and her sister, Leta Christoffel.
Andra's memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
