Harlee M. Hansen, age 19, left this earthly life on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas. She was born on December 6, 2005 in Belleville, Kansas, to Brad and Tara L. (Jones) Hansen.
She graduated from Republic County High School in 2024. She was active in FFA and always looked forward to the fair and showing her steers. She played softball and volleyball throughout junior high and high school.
During high school, she worked at Dairy Queen in Belleville. She currently worked for Tallgrass Veterinary Hospital in Concordia.
Harlee's biggest passion was her dogs, Kash and Oakley, and helping with cattle on the farm. She loved helping out with her little cousins and niece, Brayleigh.
Heather, Harlee and Lane were always extremely close and they always had each other's backs. Growing up close in age they spent most of their time outside riding four wheelers, swimming at the pool, and adventuring on the farm.
Harlee is survived by her father, Brad Hansen (Tiffiny Sasser), Concordia, Kansas; sister, Heather Dickerson (Brett), Cleveland, Texas; brother, Lane Hansen, Concordia, Kansas; Kyla and Madison Sasser, Belleville, Kansas; grandparents, Dennis and Melba Hansen, Belleville, Kansas, Russell and Mae Jones, Smolan, Kansas; niece, Brayleigh Dickerson; uncles, Kyle Jones, Clay Center, Kansas, Micheal Ingwerson (Jamie), Concordia, Kansas, and Brandon Hansen (Tiffany), Belleville, Kansas; aunts, Stacie Cottenmyre (Mike), Belleville, Kansas, and Michela Ingwerson (Mark), Orange County, California; great-grandfather, Gale Atherton, Belleville, Kansas; many cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tara LeeAnn Hansen; her grandmother, Lisa Kay Jones; and her great-grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Commercial Building at the Republic County Fairgrounds, 901 O St., Belleville, Kansas, with Pastor Randy Whitley officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 1 pm to 8 pm with the family greeting friends from 5 pm to 7 pm all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. 6th St., Concordia, Kansas.
Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, rural Concordia, Kansas, with luncheon to follow at the Commercial Building.
