Smith Center - Carol Haresnape, 85, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Smith Center Health and Rehab.
Carol was born on August 22, 1940, in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Howard O. and Helen F. (Reece) Linton. Carol married Donald Haresnape on June 12, 1960, in Smith Center, KS.
She is survived by her husband Donald Haresnape of Smith Center; two sons, Jeffrey (Carolyn) Haresnape of Grapevine, TX, Linton (Julie) Haresnape of Lebanon; a daughter, Dondra (Earl) Harrison of Kansas City, MO; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, KS, with Pastor Lance McDowell officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., with family present to great friends from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center, KS. Memorials may be given to the Smith Center Transportation Van and/or Smith Center Meals on Wheels and/or Smith County Memorial Hospital for New Equipment and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
