Kimberly Kay Albrecht, beloved daughter, sister, cousin and friend, was called to her heavenly
home on March 5, 2026 at Salina Regional Health Center at the age of 63. Kim was the
daughter of Wilbur and Eleanor Mussmann and the loving sister of Jeffery Mussmann.
Kim was received into God's family through baptism by Pastor Donald Patterson on December
2, 1962 and confirmed her faith through confirmation in 1977, both at St. John Lutheran Church,
Chester, Nebraska.
Kim grew up in Chester, graduating from Chester/Hubbell High School in 1981. She attended
college at Concordia University and Fairbury Junior College.
She began her 25+ year career with AT&T in the early 1980's. Her job took her to several
locations across the country, working several different positions from warehouse work to
customer technical support until health issues returned her to Belleville, Kansas where she
developed special friendships with Liz, Donna, Kathy, Gigi, Nancy, and Sharon. Health Issues
were a constant in her life but she never complained about the challenges she faced daily.
Kim is preceded in death by her father Wilbur Mussmann, grandparents, Ben and Edna
Mussmann and Melvin and Ilo Crouse, several aunts, uncles and family members.
She is survived by her mother, Eleanor (Jim) Stelzer of Lincoln, Nebraska, brother Jeffery
Mussmann of Chester, Nebraska, step siblings Cindy (Kevin) Gish of Cottage Grove,
Minnesota, Scott Bandars of Lincoln, Nebraska, Bill (Gretchen) Stelzer, Lincoln, Nebraska, Mike
(Katie) Stelzer, Lincoln, Nebraska, Julie (Nate) Lewis, Kearney, Nebraska, aunts, uncles,
cousins, many more family members and friends and best friend Jack, her dachshund. Kim will
be deeply missed.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Friday, March 13, 2026 at 11:00am at Bachelor-Surber
Funeral Home, 1322 19th St. Belleville, Kansas with Pastor Rick Snodgrass officiating. A
luncheon will follow the service at the Belleville Country Club.
Inurnment will take place after the luncheon at 2:00pm at Chester Cemetery, Chester,
Nebraska.
Friends may sign the register book from 1:00-7:00pm Thursday, March 12, 2026 with the family
greeting friends from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.
