George Edward Stange, 74, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at CHI Health Good Samaritan, Kearney, NE.
George was born on August 28, 1951, in Smith Center, KS, the son of Karl and Juanita Pearl (Cornwell) Stange
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a still born sister Jennifer.
George is survived by his two children, Lance (Amilyn) Stange of Loveland, CO, and Chandra (Barry) Bailey of Ft. Collins, CO; three sisters, Karla (Gene) Jones of Smith Center, Leafa Ruth Marrs of Tilden, NE, and Angela (Rodney) Richardson of Lebanon; and 7 grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, at North Oak Creek Cemetery, 22052 KS-181, Lebanon, KS, with Minister Tina Reed officiating. Immediately following the memorial service, the family will receive friends at the Lebanon Community Center, 420 Main St., Lebanon, KS. There will not be a public visitation as cremation was chosen. Memorials may be given to the George E. Stange Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, KS 66967.
