Leonard Cleo Ball was born July 6, 1965 in Belleville KS to Leo Edward Ball and Gloria Faith Ball. He passed away July 2, 2026 at Salina Regional Health Center at the age of 60.
Leonard graduated from Belleville High School in 1984. He was united in marriage to Ellen Renae Baker in Hoxie, KS on September 7, 1991 and to this union two children were born, a son Claget Castile (C.C.) Ball and a daughter Katrina Renae Ball.
In 1993, Leonard started Crossroads Movers and operated it till his death with his son CC. Leonard was a member of the Midstates House Mover Association since 1993 and served on the board of directors since 2022. He raised registered Brown Swiss Cattle for almost 50 years and shared his love of cattle with his kids. Leonard served on the board of the Kansas Brown Swiss Association.
Leonard served the Lord since he was 7 years old and played on many worship teams, served as a Sunday school teacher, a youth leader, worked children church camp for the Assemblies of God in Kansas as dining hall director for 25 years, and on the church board of the 4J Cowboy Church in Concordia, KS.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Cleo and Blanche Ball, Rev LR and Rev. Blanche Brasier, his parents Leo and Faith Ball, and his sister Leona Beal.
He is survived by his wife Ellen Ball; son CC (Kirsten) Ball; daughter Katrina Ball; 2 grandsons; 1 granddaughter and another grandchild in August all of Belleville, KS; brother, Leon (Beth) Ball of Belleville, KS and brother-in- law, Fred Beal of Salina, KS as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Monday, July 13, 2026 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, 1322 19th St, Belleville, KS, with Pastor Earl Hale, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Chester Cemetery, Chester, Nebraska.
Visitation and viewing will be from 11 AM until service time on Monday, July 13, 2026 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas.
