Chris's life began with incredible determination. Born three months premature and weighing only 1 pound, 9 ounces, he overcame tremendous odds from his very first day. His perseverance and strength became defining qualities throughout his life. He attended Lawrence/Nelson Schools and graduated from high school before answering the call to serve his country. Chris proudly served four years in the United States Navy, followed by four years in the United States Army. His military service reflected his courage, commitment, and willingness to put others before himself. He was honorably medically discharged after faithfully serving his nation. Chris enjoyed playing video games and spending time in nature. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Ferguson and son Giddeon Ferguson. Above all, Chris treasured his family. He was a loving father to his son, Kayden Ferguson (Elizabeth Cox), and daughter, Gwen Ferguson; grandson Joseph Condry and soon to be granddaughter Ella Ferguson; his father Scott Ferguson, his mother Kelleen Ferguson; siblings Jessica (Granger) Loften, Morgan Wells, Shelby Ferguson and Shayla Ferguson; and his grandmother Selma Ferguson of Deshler; other relatives and a host of friends.
