Elizabeth "Betty" Mohr was born on January 24, 1943, to Ralph and Mary Alene (Sanders) Feasel. She passed away on August 28, 2026, in Olathe, Kansas, at the age of 83 years, 7 months, and 4 days.
When Betty was a young child, her mother passed away, and her father later remarried to Beulah Baylie. Betty grew up in Belleville, graduating from Belleville High School in 1961. Following high school, she attended Crums Beauty College in Manhattan, where she earned her degree in cosmetology. She then returned to Belleville where she would soon own her own beauty salon.
She was united in marriage to Bernie Mohr on July 25, 1965, in Belleville, and to this union of 56 years, two daughters were born, Angie and Amy. Betty owned and operated her own beauty shop for 30 years before retiring. She recently relocated to Olathe, Kansas to be closer to her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents and stepmother Beulah, her husband Bernie, brother Bob Feasel and his wife Mary Lou, brother Gary Feasel, her sister Marjorie Nelson and her husband Bert, stepsister Norma Tunks and her husband Delbert, and stepsister Kay Hansen.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters; Angie Galindo and her husband Keith, and Amy Schaffer; grandchildren Ally, Nick, Jack Schaffer, and Max Galindo; sister Dian Haldorson and her husband Glen; and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Feasel; nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 11:00 am, at the First United Methodist Church in Belleville.
