Dave Wilcox, Farmway Distribution Center and Precision Ag Manager, attended the 2012 Kansas Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) program in Junction City, January 18. Wilcox represents Farmway on the 2011-2012 Kansas CCA Board of Directors as the International Certified Crop Adviser Representative. To receive the certification, applicants must complete advanced study, pass rigorous state and international exams covering nutrient management, soil and water management, integrated pest management, and crop management. Plus, have proven experience in the field and a commitment to continuing education.
Five Farmway experts have earned CCA certification through the American Society of Agronomy: agronomists Roger Barrett, Greg Germann, and Brad Johnson; Andrea Harms, sales manager; Ryan Harms, seed product manager; and Dave Wilcox, Distribution Center and Precision Ag Manager.
