THE 29TH ANNUAL KANSAS 8 MAN ALL STAR FOOTBALL GAMES TOOK PLACE ON SATURDAY JUNE 7TH AT TROJAN FIELD IN BELOIT...IT TURNED OUT 

TO BE A BEAUTIFUL DAY WITH A HIGH TEMP IN THE UPPER 70'S.

 

IN THE DIVISION ONE GAME IN THE MORNING...IT WAS A DEFENSIVE STRUGLLE....EAST LED 14-8 AT HALF AND HUNG ON FOR THE 20-16 WIN.

ANTHONY HAWKINS OF SOUTH HAVEN WAS THE EAST QUARTERBACK AND HE RAN FOR 2 SCORES AND PASSED FOR ANOTHER....MAVERICK LeROCK OF OSBORNE

HAD 58 YARDS RUSHING AND KENTON UBELAKER OF OSBORNE HAD 54 YARDS RUSHING FOR THE EAST.

 

IN THE DIVISION TWO GAME IN THE AFTERNOON...ALOT MORE POINTS WERE SCORED...THE EAST WON 52-41....A GAME THAT WENT BACK AND FORTH ALL DAY...

DUSTIN ROTTINGHAUS OF BAILEYVILLE HAD 6 TD PASSES FOR THE EAST(A NEW RECORD)...KYLE GFELLER OF SHARON SPRINGS WALLACE COUNTY PASSED FOR 5

TOUCHDOWNS...LUKE EILERT OF ST JOHNS TIPTON HAD A GREAT DAY FOR THE WEST WITH 6 CATCHES FOR 189 YARDS ..2 TDS AND 1 PAT...ONE OF THE KEY PLAYS

IN THE GAME  HAPPENED IN THE 4TH QUARTER WHEN DUSTIN DAVIDSON OF HOPE PICKED OFF A PASS AND RETURNED IT 35 YARDS FOR A TOUCHDOWN..THAT PUT

THE EAST UP 2 SCORES..38-29 ...THE EAST ABLE TO KEEP ITS LEAD THE REST OF THE WAY WINING 52-41
