Don Buchanan, Age 73

Don L. Buchanan of Belleville, Kansas, age 73, passed away on February 17, 2015 at Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born April 28, 1941 at Ashland, Nebraska, the son of Lewis R. Buchanan and Elda M. (Allen) Buchanan. He served with the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1976 and was a truck driver of 48 states most of his life. He was united in marriage to Barbara Horvath on January 19, 1983.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Elda Buchanan, one brother, Richard L. (Buck) Buchanan.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Buchanan of Belleville, Ks., one daughter, Kimberly Baidas of Clyde, Texas, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister, Ronda (Ray) Davis of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Cremation was chosen; Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, Feb 28, 2015, Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS.
Private family Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Atwood, Kansas at a later date. Military Graveside services by the Fort Riley Honor Guard. Friends may sign the register book on Friday, Feb 27, 2015, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS.
