Alan E. McMillan, 87

Alan E. McMillan was born on Dec. 30th 1931 to Edwin and Mabel (Debus) McMillan, on the farm 2 miles east of Randall. He died January 30th, 2019 at the age of 87 at his home.
Alan graduated from Randall High School. He was in the Navy from November 6, 1951 to November 4, 1955. On October 10, 1954 Alan married Barbara Hopper in West Memphis, Arkansas. There are 6 children from this marriage: Deborah, Bruce, Edwin, Rhonda, William, and David.
Alan was an electronics tech for several years repairing TVs and radios. He then started farming with his father, and driving a school bus for USD 279, his most recent job was a janitor at REV-3 in Jewell.
He is being remembered by his sister, Mary Jo Geiger; his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday February 8th from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Kleppinger Funeral Home, Jewell. Services are Saturday February 9th, 2019 at the Randall Community Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Randall Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions in memory of Alan McMillan will be designated at a later date.
