8 Man Division II West Squad 2023

Beloit to host 38th Annual 8 Man All Star Games
The 38th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Games will be played in Beloit on Saturday, June 10th. The Division II game will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Trojan Field on North Hersey Avenue. Pre-game will begin at 9:30 a.m. with introduction of the players.
The Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Pep Rally and refreshments for the players, coaches and fans on Friday, June 9th, starting at 4 p.m. at Chautauqua Park in Beloit.

Evan Stratmann, Central Plains High School, has been selected for the Division II West Squad. He is a 2023 graduate and plans to attend John Deere school. His parents are Chad and Rachelle Stratmann. Chris Steiner was his high school football coach.
Football statistics, accomplishments and honors include All League 2nd Team Defensive End. Hobbies and interests include hunting, fishing, and weight lifting.

Taylor Anderson, Victoria, has been chosen for the Division II West All Star West Squad. He is a 2023 graduate of Victoria High School and plans to attend NCK Tech College in Beloit for welding. His parents are Josh and Jennifer Anderson and his high school football coach was Doug Oberle.
Career football statistics, accomplishments and honors include Sport in Kansas Defensive Back Honorable Mention in 2021 and 2022, CPL First Team Defensive Back 2021 and 2022, CPL First Team Flex Back 2022.
Activities and honors outside of school include Catholic Youth Organization.
Taylor enjoys riding ATVs with family and friends, hunting and hanging out with friends.

Kacen Anthony, Satanta High School, has been selected for the 2023 8 Man Division II West Squad. He is a 2023 graduate of Satanta and plans to attend Wayland Baptist University and study physical education and play football.
His parents are Kelly and Teresa Anthony. His football coaches were Really Anthony, Seth Anderson and David Enns.

Dalton Bice, Thunder Ridge, has been selected for the Division II West Squad. He is a 2023 graduate of Thunder Ridge High School and plans to attend college and start is own business. His parents are Tony and Lisa Bice and his high school coach was Joel Struckhoff.
Football statistics, accomplishments and honors include: 1193 total rushing yards, 170 carries, 609 receiving, 51 receptions, 30 pnk blocks, 414 total tackles, 38 TFL, 21 sacks, 3 int., 6 fumble recoveries, 4 caused fumbles, 32 touchdowns and 42 conversions.
He was named NPL Football 1st Team Runningback, NPL Football defensive Line, NPL Football 2nd Team Linebacker, All District Tackling Leader, Fist Team All State Defensive End and First Team Runningack.
Playoffs, League Championships undefeated seasons include: Freshman year - division champs and sectional runner ups, Junior year - sectional champs, divisional chaps, sub-state runner ups, Senior Year: sectional champs, sub-state champs, state runner-up.

Dalton does volunteer work in the community.

Dylan Bice, Thunder Ridge High School, has been selected for the Division II West Squad. He is a 2023 graduate of Thunder Ridge and his future plans are undecided. His parents are Lisa and Tony Bice.

Dylan was a state qualifier in the 4x8 2 years in a row.
Honors outside of school include first place in NPL Powerlifting in Bench and Clean and 1st overall at 198.
He enjoys weight lifting and playing basketball.

Sawyer Bowman, Hodgeman County, has been selected for the Division II West Squad. He is a 2023 graduate of Hogeman County High School and plans to attend Pratt Community College. His parents are Scott and Sharon Bowman and his football coach is Matt Housman.
Football statistics, honors and achievements include: SPIAA Honorable Mention Linebacker 2021, SPIAA First Team Linebacker 2022, First Team Runningback 2022, First Team 2022 District 8 Linebacker, Second Team 2022 District 8 Runningback.

Noah Deibert, Minneola, has been selected for the 2023 II West Squad. He is a 2023 graduate of Minneola High School. His parents are Anne and Tony Morton and his football coach is Reign Hahn.
Football statistics and honors include: 66 receptions, 11 touchdowns, 884 receiving yards, 158 tackles, 4 sacks, SPIAA All League 1st Team Tight End 2022-2023; SPIAA All League 1st Team Linebacker 2022; SPIAA All League 2nd Team Defensive End 2023. The team reached the 2nd round of the playoffs.
Noah was selected SPIAA All-League Honorable Mention in basketball

Kaleb Dohm, Wheatland High School, has been selected for the Division II West Squad. He is a 2023 graduate of Wheatland High School and plans to work in the welding industry. His parents are Aaron Dohm and Krystal Hemphill and his high school football coach was Matt Wolf.

Brent Duncan, South Barber, has been selected for the Division II West Squad. He is a 2023 graduate of South Barber High School and his parents are Jason and Tara Duncan. He plans to attend NWOSU and major in education.

Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: lettered in basketball and championship in the Rec. Soccer league last year.
